This program is for foreign entrepreneurs giving you the opportunity to be granted a Italian residence permit in order to establish and run an innovative growth company. Your business plan must be approved by a panel of experts before  your application for a residence permit based on the scheme. The scheme can be used by both individuals and teams of up to 5 founders (and in exceptional cases, 10) can apply together through a joined business plan.

As a permit holder under the program, you will be able to live in Italy and travel to other Schengen countries without a visa. Permanent residence may be granted after about 5 years of residence; while after 10 years of continuous residence, you may apply for Italian citizenship as well.

Requirements

– The applicants must be non-EU/EEA citizens
– Your business plan must be approved by the concerned Italian authorities
– You must be able to financially support yourself & your dependents
– You must be willing to actively manage your day to day business operations
– You must have a minimum investment of €50,000 for your proposed project (in case of a single founder)

  • Original or Certified copy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
