This program is for foreign entrepreneurs giving you the opportunity to be granted a Danish residence permit in order to establish and run an innovative growth company. Your business plan must be approved by a panel of experts before  proceeding with your application for a residence and work permit based on the scheme. The scheme can be used by both individuals and teams of up to 3 people who want to start a business together in Denmark through a joined business plan.

As a permit holder under the program, you will be able to live in Denmark and travel to other Schengen countries without a visa. If some extra requirements are completed, permanent residence can be granted in about 5 years. After 9-10 years of continuous residence, you may apply for Danish citizenship.

Requirements

– The applicants must be non-EU/EEA citizens
– Your business plan must be approved by the Danish Business Authority’s panel of experts
– You must be able to financially support yourself & your dependents
– You must be willing to actively manage your day to day business operations
– To be successful, you must have a minimum investment of €100,000 for your proposed project
